The night of Jan. 6th, Kansas City Christian will be having their annual “court warming” basketball. During the half time of the Varsity boys game, the queen and king will be crowned.

And the nominees are:

Abby Swafford

Q:What will you do to celebrate if you win queen?

A: I’ll break the whole 30.

Aubrey Johnston

Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?

A: Two of my toes are stuck together – they’re like Siamese twins.


Elise Gamble

Q: What  is your go-to dance move?

A: “Snaps, always.”

Mallory Mong

Q: What is your favorite high school memory?

A: At the junior retreat, we were split up into team and I was on the “windex crew” and we just lounged around while everyone was doing hard work.

Ethan Buresh

Q: How will you celebrate if you win?

A: I’ll go duck hunting.

Q: What is your favorite memory from KCC?

A: Winning the middle school soccer championship with 40 seconds to go.

A: The “white boy,” it’s where you just wait off to the side and talk because you can’t dance.
